In Memory of Granny

She left us to be with Jesus on April 13, 2010
A precious saint of God.  She is rejoicing now with Him, Whom she loved more than anything.

Face to Face

Words by Carrie E. Breck

Revelation 22:4

"And they shall see his face;

and his name shall be in their foreheads."
..................................

Face to face with Christ, my Savior,

Face to face - what will it be,

When with rapture I behold Him,

Jesus Christ Who died for me?

What rejoicing in His presence,

When are banished grief and pain;

When the crooked ways are straightened,

And the dark things shall be plain.

Face to face - oh, blissful moment!

Face to face - to see and know;

Face to face with my Redeemer,

Jesus Christ Who loves me so.

I was so saddened to read the news on Valerie's blog earlier today. I grabbed the quilt I had bought from Granny and put it around me while I cried...I know she's home with Jesus now but we will all miss her so much. My heart goes out to all of her family and friends. xoxo

I am very sorry about the loss you are carrying with you. The words to the song are so comforting. Here you are, one who is grieving and you share comfort with everyone else. What a Christ-like thing to do. God bless.
