VICTORIA CONTEST

After I posted the contest about when Victoria would bloom, I realized I was only showing the length of the plant.  When I got home yesterday I was looking at her, and there are two growths on the other side of her, and one of those is getting FAT!

So I am giving everyone a chance to change their guess if they want to on when she will bloom.  I am sorry, I did not notice the shorter side, and maybe that is where she will bloom from.  So if you want to change, you are welcome to, and for those who have not yet guessed, get your best guess in!  I will take a calendar and write your name in on it for the contest.  If more than one person chooses the same date that is fine, both will receive a gift.  So get your vote in and change if you wish.

My guess is February 4. She looks very well fed and ready to burst ! If she were a sheep or goat I would say maybe sooner....but as in all new births, the date is up to God and I am most usually wrong.

Thanks for letting us change our guess. Yes it looks like it is making progress, so I will change mine to January 18th.

Oh yeah!!!! She is going to bloom before mine. I don't have the flower yet. I am going to guess Jan. 26th! Mine is so tall it is falling to the side. I had to stake it up, but still no bud. Last year she had two huge blooms so maybe this year will have nothing. Hmmm.

My guess is Feb. 6th. My plant is deformed.......have to write on my calender a reminder for next Dec. not to buy a cheapie. There are no leaves and the flower stem is 2 inches, open and misshapen. Such a disappointment. Your's looks so healthy!!
